    Hampton University Museum

    Located in Hampton, Virginia, on the historic Hampton University campus, the Museum is the oldest African American museum in the U.S. and one of the oldest museums in the state. The collections feature over 9,000 objects including traditional African, Native American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Island, and Asian art; fine arts; and objects relating to the history of the University.
